McDonald’s Germany has done it. Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe, Berlin’s main transport company, has also done it. TikTok was the 4,000th company to do it. And now Achtung! has joined this group. In April, we signed the Diversity Charter and are proud to be one of almost 5,000 companies and institutions that are championing more diversity in the workplace.

The Diversity Charter
is an employer-led initiative that has been promoting diversity in companies and institutions since December 2006. The aim of the initiative is to promote the recognition, appreciation and inclusion of diversity in the workplace in Germany.

The centrepiece and symbol of this voluntary commitment is the Diversity Charter, which is an actual document to be signed. Whoever signs the charter declares it their mission that all employees will be appreciated – regardless of age, ethnic background or nationality, gender or gender identity, physical or mental abilities, religion or world view, sexual orientation or social background.

Diversity as an integral part of our togetherness

Mirko Kaminski, CEO of the Achtung! family, on the signing of the charter: “Diversity is an integral part of our society and also of our togetherness at Achtung! – in our Hamburg, Berlin, Cologne and Dusseldorf offices. For us as an agency family, signing this charter means that we are clearly committed to more diversity in all its forms and that we will do everything to ensure that we achieve this in our working day and in dealing with one another. We want to enable more understanding so that we can move from tolerance to acceptance to promotion of diversity.”
